From the Airport to Doha

This long overland route suits passengers who prefer one continuous private ride to a flight connection, such as families attending events or business visitors heading for Qatar. The road heads west along the Abu Dhabi coast to the UAE and Saudi crossings, then runs across the northern Saudi desert toward Salwa and Qatar. Keep documents in a small bag and expect each border to add time.

By road it is about 600 km and usually takes 7 to 9 hours, plus time at the border. Most of the way is on E11 and Highway 95.
