The Drive from AlUla to Abu Dhabi
From the sandstone landscapes of AlUla to the UAE capital, this long drive goes by Hail, Buraidah and Al Ahsa before entering the UAE. Guests take it for work, family and trips that end at Yas Island or the Corniche. Setting off after a sunrise tour makes a good start to the road.
By road it is about 2,000 km and usually takes 21 to 24 hours, plus time at the border. Most of the way is on Highway 65 and Highway 70. The road passes Hail, Buraidah and Al Ahsa.
