The Drive from Bahrain to Lusail
Lusail is Qatar's newest city, with the marina, boulevard and stadium district, and many guests head there for concerts, matches and conferences. The route heads south through the Eastern Province to the Salwa border and on through Doha, about 380 km. On event days, ask for a pickup spot away from the main gates, because the surrounding roads fill quickly.
By road it is about 380 km and usually takes 6 to 8 hours, plus time at the border. Most of the way is on Highway 95. The road passes Al Khobar, Dhahran and Doha.
