A private car and professional chauffeur from Bahrain to Sohar, and from Sohar back to Bahrain, door to door in a premium SUV. The same car takes you across the King Fahd Causeway, Al Batha / Al Ghuwaifat border and Al Ain / Al Buraimi border.
Sohar is a port city on the Batinah coast in Oman, with a large harbour, an industrial zone and a corniche, so travellers include business visitors and families. You cross Saudi Arabia and the UAE border, then enter Oman near Al Ain, 11 to 14 hours. Starting early gives you a calm, daytime run through the final Omani stretch.
By road it is about 950 km and usually takes 11 to 14 hours, plus time at the border. Most of the way is on E11 and Highway 95. The road passes Al Khobar, Dhahran and Al Ain.
In Bahrain we collect you from any address, including Seef, Diplomatic Area, Juffair and Adliya.
In Sohar we drop off wherever you need, such as Sohar Corniche, Sohar Fort, Sohar Port and Freezone and Falaj Al Qabail.
Sohar is a historic port city on the Batinah coast of northern Oman. Today it is an industrial and trade hub around its deep-water port and free zone, and a gateway to the UAE border.
Every passenger needs valid travel documents for each country on the route. Tell us your nationalities when you book and we will plan the crossing.
