From the Airport to Kuwait City

The northern run from King Fahd International Airport to Kuwait City follows the Gulf coast, about 400 km, through Qatif and Al Khafji before the border, then on past Al Ahmadi. Passengers are business travellers, families and shoppers. Kuwait City's evening traffic is heavy, so plan the arrival with that in mind.

By road it is about 400 km and usually takes 5 to 6 hours, plus time at the border. Most of the way is on Highway 95 and Highway 40. The road passes Qatif, Al Khafji and Al Ahmadi.
