From the Airport to Umm Al Quwain
Umm Al Quwain is the quietest of the emirates, and visitors come for its mangroves, calm beaches, fishing and the Dreamland water park, while residents commute to Dubai. The road runs north along the coast through Sharjah and Ajman and then thins out into a quieter coastal stretch. Share the beach club or hotel name beforehand, since some resorts sit down side roads.
By road it is about 55 km and usually takes 60 to 80 minutes. Most of the way is on E11 and E311. The road passes Sharjah and Ajman.
