The Drive from Dubai to Nizwa

Dubai to Nizwa goes through Al Ain and Al Buraimi and onward by Ibri into Oman's interior, for Nizwa's fort, its souq and the Friday goat market. Jebel Akhdar, the Green Mountain, is a short run away. Plan your visit for a Friday if the market matters to you.

By road it is about 420 km and usually takes 6 to 7 hours, plus time at the border. Most of the way is on E66. The road passes Al Buraimi, Al Ain and Ibri.
