The Drive from Jeddah to AlUla
AlUla draws visitors for its sandstone canyons, the Hegra tombs, Elephant Rock and winter festivals, so the Jeddah run is usually a holiday, a heritage trip or an event visit. The road follows the Red Sea coast to Yanbu, then crosses the desert inland. Arrive in the late afternoon if you can, when the rock walls glow and the heat has eased.
By road it is about 670 km and usually takes 9 to 10 hours. Most of the way is on Highway 328 and Highway 5. The road passes Yanbu.

In AlUla we drop off wherever you need, such as AlUla Old Town, Hegra, Dadan and Maraya.
