The Drive from Yanbu to Kuwait City
Yanbu to Kuwait City runs through Madinah and Hafr Al Batin, then across the Ruqi crossing, a drive many take for family visits and business. It is a very long run, and Hafr Al Batin is the natural last stop for fuel and food before the border.
By road it is about 1,350 km and usually takes 15 to 17 hours, plus time at the border. Most of the way is on Highway 65 and Highway 50. The road passes Madinah, Hafr Al Batin and Al Jahra.
