The Drive from Bahrain to Buraidah
Buraidah is the heart of Al Qassim, known for its dates, camel market and farmland, and many travellers go for family visits, trade or the date season. By road it is about 800 km and usually takes 8 to 10 hours, plus time at the border. Most of the way is on Highway 40 and Highway 65. The road passes Al Khobar, Dhahran and Dammam.
